Connect a Channel

A channel is the social account (such as a Facebook page) that Dynamo sends your marketing messages and campaigns through. Before you can create audiences, campaigns, or marketing messages, you need at least one connected channel.

Connecting happens through the Manage Channels page and Meta’s official "Facebook Login for Business" flow, where you grant Dynamo access to the right business assets.

Before you start

  • A Facebook account with access to the business page you want to connect.
  • Admin or full-control access to the relevant Meta Business portfolio.
  1. 1

    Open the Manage Channels page

From the left sidebar, under Social tools, click Manage Channels. This opens the Social Channels page where you connect and manage your social media accounts.

The header shows how many channels are connected, and the page is split into a Login method card and a Connected channels list.

    Review the login method

The Login method card shows how your account authenticates with Meta — for example "Business Pro Login" — along with your Business location.

Use the verify and edit icons on the right of the card to confirm or change the login details. From here you can also Manage channels for accounts you have already connected.

  3. 3

    Start connecting a channel

Click Add another channel to begin connecting a new social account. This launches Meta’s official Facebook Login for Business flow in a popup window.

If the popup is blocked, allow popups for Dynamo and click the button again.

Continue with Facebook Login for Business

In the popup, review what you are granting: Dynamo will be able to securely send marketing messages, review and connect your assets to your business portfolio, and add eligible individuals as subscribers.

Make sure you are signed in to the correct Facebook account (top-right), then click Continue to proceed.

Tip: This is Meta’s own secure login window — Dynamo never sees your Facebook password.

Select the business assets to share

Next, choose which business assets to share with Dynamo. Open the Business portfolio dropdown and pick the portfolio that owns the page you want to connect.

Some portfolios require full control before they can be selected. Once you have chosen the right one, click Next and follow the remaining prompts to finish granting access.

    Verify the connected channel

When the flow finishes, the popup closes and your new page appears under Connected channels on the Social Channels page, with its platform icon (for example Facebook).

The channel counter in the header increases, and the page is now available to select throughout Dynamo when creating audiences, campaigns, and marketing messages.
