Create Marketing Assets with the Marketing Lab

The Marketing Lab is a tab in the Asset Creator built for growth teams. Instead of writing a prompt from scratch, you pick a marketing goal and a proven template, and Dynamo generates polished ad creatives you can run right away.

It is designed around campaign intent: choose whether you are acquiring new users or winning back existing ones, then choose the creative angle that fits — a curiosity hook, a spin-to-collect reward, a limited-time e-comm deal, and more.

Read Create Images with the Asset Creator firstThe Marketing Lab shares the Asset Creator basics — credits, references and the library — with the Image Creator, which covers them properly.Start with Create Images with the Asset Creator

Before you start

  • A marketing workspace. The Marketing Lab tab is only available to marketing workspaces — if you do not see it in the Asset Creator, ask your workspace admin to enable a marketing workspace.
  • Credits in your monthly allowance. Every organization gets 300 credits a month as standard; the counter resets to 0 at the start of each month and climbs as you generate. The Credits meter shows where your organization stands — the total is higher if you are on an Asset Creator bundle.
  • Optional: a reference image (logo, character, or product shot) to keep the generated creative on-brand.
  1. 1

    Open the Marketing Lab tab

From the left sidebar, under VIP tools, open Assets creator, then click the Marketing Lab tab at the top (next to Image Creator).

The Marketing Lab tab is only available to marketing workspaces. If the tab is missing, you are not in a marketing workspace — switch to one or ask your admin to enable it.

The panel shows Marketing Objective, Marketing Template, Number of Images, and a Credits meter, plus a Reference Images uploader. The Generate button stays disabled until your selections are complete.

Tip: Only marketing workspaces get the Marketing Lab — the tab simply will not appear in other workspace types.

    Choose your marketing objective

Open Marketing Objective and pick the campaign goal. The options are Retargeting (win back or re-engage existing users), User Acquisition (reach brand-new users), and User Acquisition | Click to messenger (acquisition creatives that drive people into a Messenger conversation).

Your objective determines which templates are available in the next step, so choose it first.

Tip: Pick Retargeting for win-back creatives and User Acquisition when you need to attract fresh users.

    Pick a marketing template

Open Marketing Template to choose the creative angle. The list changes based on your objective.

Retargeting surfaces win-back angles like "Spin-to-collect" wheel UI, We miss you message, Welcome-back reward, and Unclaimed rewards reminder.

User Acquisition surfaces attention-grabbing angles like "I can't stop" curiosity hook, Big reward explosion, Only 1% can beat this, and Friend Recommendation - UGC.

There are also e-comm templates such as Bold typography ad, Flash Drop via Chat, Messenger-Only Deal, and Open-ended Tease for product-driven campaigns.

Set image count, add a reference, and generate

Choose how many variations to create with Number of Images (1 to 4) — more variations use more credits. Your organization gets 300 credits a month as standard, and the counter resets to 0 at the start of each month.

Optionally upload a Reference Image (a logo, character, or product shot) so the generated creative stays on-brand.

When your objective and template are set, the Generate button turns purple. Click it to produce the marketing creatives.

Tip: Generate 4 variations at once to quickly compare creative directions before choosing one to run. If you need more than your monthly allowance, talk to your Dynamo CS — extra capacity comes as an Asset Creator bundle added to your organization.
