Create Interactive Games with the Interactive Lab

The Interactive Lab is the second tab of the Asset Creator. Instead of a single image, it turns your asset into an interactive game — a challenge your audience can play right inside a message, like spotting differences, guessing a silhouette, solving a maze, or unscrambling words.

You pick a challenge template, add a reference image or video, fine-tune the challenge settings, and let Dynamo generate a ready-to-share result you can refine and download.

Before you start

  • Access to a Dynamo workspace with the Asset Creator enabled.
  • Monthly credits available. Each Interactive Lab creation uses 5 credits for images and 30 credits for videos. The 300 monthly credits reset to 0 each month — contact your CS to add more with an extra payment to Dynamo.
  • An image or short video to use as your reference asset (or one generated in the Image Creator).
  1. 1

    Open the Interactive Lab tab

From the left sidebar, under VIP tools, open Assets creator, then click the Interactive Lab tab at the top (next to Image Creator).

A banner explains the cost: each Interactive Lab creation uses 5 credits when working with images and 30 credits when working with videos. Your remaining balance is shown in the Credits meter (for example 7/300).

Tip: Use the Brand font button to apply your brand typography to any text the game adds.

    Choose a challenge template

Below the banner is a scrolling row of challenge templates. Pick the game you want to create — options include Blur match challenge, Spot the differences, Find the right order, Pixel match puzzle, Find the odd silhouette, Guess who?, Guess the movie, Vote, Maze challenge, Unscramble words, Coloring book, Treasure Challenge, and many more.

A small icon on each template shows whether it works with images, videos, or both. The selected template is highlighted.

    Add your reference asset

In the Add asset (or Reference asset) panel on the left, upload the image or video you want to turn into a game click to browse or drag and drop. You can also reuse an asset you made in the Image Creator.

The Result panel on the right shows an Example preview so you know what the finished challenge will look like before you generate.

    Adjust the challenge settings

Click the settings (gear) icon to fine-tune how the challenge behaves. Each template has its own options — for example, Find the right order lets you set Blur Intensity (Light, Medium, Heavy, Max), toggle Show text labels, choose the Letter Position on a grid, pick a Font Color, and set the Letter Size.

Use the eye/preview icon to check your changes against the example before spending credits.

Tip: Settings differ per template — mazes, word games, and spot-the-difference each expose their own controls.

    Generate the interactive asset

When you are happy with the template and settings, click Create Asset (or New) to generate the game. Generation can take 2-3 minutes, and a spinner shows the progress along with your prompt.

Each creation draws from your monthly credits — 5 for an image-based game, 30 for a video-based one.

    Review, refine, and download

The finished challenge appears in the Result panel — for example, a Guess who? game renders a black silhouette of your character, while Find the right order splits the image into A/B/C sections to reorder.

From the result you can Upscale for higher resolution, Animate it, Tweak the settings and regenerate, or Download it to share. Use New to start another challenge with a fresh asset.

Download the result or save it to your Library, then drop it into a broadcast, journey, or campaign to boost engagement. Try different templates with the same asset to see which challenge your audience enjoys most.
