Before you start
- A connected Facebook channel (see the "Connect a Channel" tutorial).
- Access to the FB Messenger tools in the Dynamo sidebar.
- 1
Open Channel Superpower
From the left sidebar, under FB Messenger, click Channel Superpower. This page lets you manage the always-on superpowers for a connected channel.
The header reads "Channel Superpower — Manage the always-on superpowers for a connected channel."
FB Messenger → Channel Superpower in the sidebar. - 2
Choose the channel
Use the Channel dropdown to pick the connected channel you want to configure (for example "Prod.test.tom10"). Superpowers are set per channel, so make sure the right one is selected.

Turn on the AI Unsubscribe Assistant
Find the AI Unsubscribe Assistant card and flip its toggle to Active. When active, the toggle turns green and the label reads "Active".
As the card explains, the AI detects unsubscribe intent in natural conversations, and before unsubscribing the user, the system asks for confirmation to prevent accidental opt-outs.
Tip: Leaving the assistant Inactive means unsubscribe intent is not automatically detected — enable it to protect against both accidental and missed opt-outs.
Inactive: the toggle is off and the card is dimmed. Active: the toggle is green and the assistant is running. - 4
Understand what it does
With the assistant active, Dynamo watches conversations for unsubscribe intent. Rather than opting the person out immediately, it sends a confirmation message so a stray phrase does not accidentally remove a subscriber.
Only after the user confirms via the required Unsubscribe button are they actually opted out.

Edit the confirmation message
Click Edit confirmation message to open the Unsubscribe Confirmation Message editor. This is the message sent when the AI detects unsubscribe intent.
Write the Title copy recipients will see (for example "Would you like to stop receiving messages from us? Tap the button below to confirm."), and optionally add media via Upload Media or the Assets creator.

That's it — the AI Unsubscribe Assistant is live!
Dynamo will now detect unsubscribe intent and confirm with users before opting them out. Revisit this page anytime to tweak the confirmation message or toggle the assistant off.
